With so many different types of carpet and stains, it can be a challenge to keep your home looking its best. Fortunately, keeping your carpets clean doesn’t have to be such a hassle. By using a carpet cleaning extractor you can remove stubborn stains from your carpets as well as wash them at home easily. Remove all furniture, window coverings, and other objects from the room you are cleaning. The last thing you want when cleaning is something constantly getting in the way of you completing your tasks. simply move the furniture into another room before you start to make the process easier.
If you are cleaning carpets with an extractor, you will want to pour 8 ounces of carpet cleaner concentrate into the tank. If you are using a solution from a bottle, you should dilute it with water to make up the 8 ounces. However, it is important that you do not add too much water. If you do, the extractor may not work as well, since it works by sucking up water. Adding too much water will keep the extractor from working properly, which could affect the result of the cleaning.
Select a starting point in one corner. Start in one corner of the room and clean along a wall, then move to the other side of the room and clean along the other wall. This will ensure that you get the entire room clean. As you clean, squeeze the shampoo head to release more concentration as needed.
Move the nozzle over the areas that need to be cleaned. Move the nozzle from one side to the other so that the carpet is evenly cleaned. This will allow the extractor to remove stains and dirt from the carpet.
After the carpet is dry, move the furniture back into the room. You may want to put a clean sheet or towel under each piece of furniture to protect the carpet from getting fibres from the furniture. Once the furniture is back in the room, you can roll up the sheet or put the towel back in its usual place. You may notice that the carpet is much cleaner than it is normally. This is thanks to the effect of the extractor. The extractor pulls dirt and stains out of the carpet and leaves it with much less dirt and less colour than it had before. If you have a white carpet, you may not be able to tell that it is that much cleaner.
